Nestled in the heart of the Côtes de Provence, the 2024 vintage of Promise Rosé is a graceful expression of terroir and craftsmanship. This elegant rosé, with an alcohol content of 13%, is born from a mosaic of soils: mica-schist on the upper slopes brings structure, while the sandy-clay soils lower down contribute finesse and freshness.
The blend is a harmonious trio: 40% Cinsault, 35% Grenache, and 25% Syrah, cultivated on 8- to 12-year-old vinesplanted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare. Pruned in double cordon de Royat and managed under sustainable viticulture, the vines are harvested mechanically by night, from mid-August to late September, to preserve the freshness of the fruit.
Vinification takes place with meticulous care. Each grape variety is pressed separately using a closed pneumatic press, and the musts are gently settled and clarified at low temperature. A cold soak of about 10 days at 8°C enhances aroma extraction before fermentation begins. The fermentations are carefully temperature-controlled at 17°C to preserve delicate aromas.
After fermentation, the wine rests on fine lees in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks for one to two months, enhancing texture and complexity.
Promise Rosé is best enjoyed chilled at 8°C, and pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes: from aperitifs and seafood to bouillabaisse, Asian cuisine, sushi, and even a strawberry and basil salad.
